Please choose the number of hanks you would like caked for your entire order. If you have ordered multiple colorways, please specify the total number of hanks here that you want caked. If you only want some done, please leave me a note at checkout to specify which colors and quantities you’d like done.
Adding caking/winding services to your order will add an additional 1-3 days to the fulfillment time of your order.
It is not recommended to cake and store yarn for long periods of time because winding yarn into a cake can put unnecessary tension on the fibers, potentially leading to stretching, gauge issues, and damage to the yarn quality if left stored as a cake for a long time. Storing yarn in its original skein or hank is better for long-term storage.
